Claude Gosselin founded CIAC in 1983 and has been since its artistic and executive Director. As such, he has devised and directed Les Cent jours d'art contemporain de Montréal from 1985 to 1996 and he created La Biennale de Montréal in 1998. Trained in art history and cultural research, he also acted as a curator for several noticeable exhibitions of contemporary art, including the Biennale du Havre, France, 2006. Claude Gosselin received numerous awards including the Governor General of Canada's Award for his outstanding contribution in Visual and Media Arts in 2005 and he is a member of Order of Canada since 2006.
David Liss, Director of MOCCA - Museum of Canadian Contemporary Art, Toronto, was co-curator for the 2011 edition of the BNL MTL.

David Liss was the ideal partner for such an event, one who knows well both Montréal and the Canadian scene, and who regularly organizes exhibits for national artists at MOCCA. He also boasts serious international experience as exhibition curator at ARCOmadrid, the festival of contemporary Spanish art, and at photo MIAMI, the contemporary art festival dedicated to photography, video and new media.

Paule Mackrous is the editor of the CIAC's Electronic Magazine and contributor to several contemporary art magazines and galleries. She has contributed to the research and events of NT2, The Laboratoire de recherche sur les œuvres hypermédiatiques and of EDAS, Experimental Digital Arts Studio (CU Boulder).
Curator of online digital arts exhibitions (Le xx fantastique, 2009; Gotcha! Possible Experiences as Fictional Narratives, 2010), she organized the electronic arts exhibition for the 2011 Montreal Biennale.
