May 1-31 2011.
Throughout the month of May 2011, the CIAC’s cultural and educational activities department has helped people of all ages to discover the artworks of the Biennale at their own pace.
We proposed tours to visitors from all backgrounds, animated by cultural mediation professionals. We had the pleasure to welcome grade school and high school groups, university and college classes, private companies and community groups. According to the desires and expectations of these groups, the mediators have adapted their level of content so that everyone can discover and appreciate the exhibition and have fun doing it.
We also offered to the general public free guided tours at fixed times. Indeed, on Saturdays and Sundays, free guided tours were offered to visitors who wanted more information about the works.
Some visitors had the pleasure to follow the guided tours several times with different mediators, and they were delighted by the richness and diversity of presentations by our mediators.

Weekend visitors were also able to participate in a free creative workshop, "Creating a Spoerri Idol," which was to create an imaginary creature with conté crayons, guided by chance, the theme of 2011 Biennale. This workshop was also proposed to public schools. Comments from teachers were all very positive.
The treasure hunt, designed for grade school children, was a success. This allowed children to discover the exhibition in an amusing way, along with their parents.
